Summer is coming.  No better time to wear you baby!  Festivals, outdoor music, Friday night Live, farm market, long walks, hiking, having your hands free to carry all those sand toys.....

June will have our regular 2nd and 4th thursday meetings but in July we will only meet once on the 4th thursday.  The 2nd thursday falls during Cherry Festival week and since we meet right downtown it makes it difficult to get there. 

Hope the holidays treated everyone well!

We are continuing now on the regular schedule of the 2nd and 4th thursday of the month at 10am.

That puts the next meeting at January 22nd.

Why come to a meeting?

Well, we can answer questions for you obviously...but we also have a lending library of carriers for people to try out.  We can point you in the right direction if there is something you are looking to buy.  

Our meetings are informal and fun.  We answer questions and demo carriers for a short time and then the discussion often wanders to many other topics and any older babies and children get some playtime.  At any given meeting we often have moms present who are knowledgeable about cloth diapers, breastfeeding, various nutrition issues.....all sorts of things!

We hope to meet many new families in the coming year! 

Due to Thanksgiving there will be only one meeting in November on Thursday Nov 13th!  As usual at 10am at Grace Episcopal.

Sorry I got behind on this site this summer!  

As things change in our lives this fall, we will need to make some minor changes to the group meetings as well.  Starting this week Sept 11th we will start our meetings at 10am instead of 10:30am.   That will allow us to wrap up by 11:30am so I can go pick up my first time preschooler on time!

Meetings will continue to be on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.  Stay tuned as we get closer to November and December for because we often only have one meeting a month due to the holidays.

In October the Family Wisdom conference is hosting a very exciting traveling film festival at the State Theatre.  The Motherbaby International Film Festival will be Oct 15-17th.  Please see  www.tcmiff.org for details about film showing and ticket purchasing.   Film makers and panelists will be available after most films for discussions!
